CISDI was recently invited to attend fairs for the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, along with enterprises from Chongqing China and counterparts from Indonesia and Vietnam.

At one of the fairs, staged in Jakarta, CISDI Engineering’s president Jason Hu signed multiple contracts for Indonesia-based projects on behalf of CISDI Group.

The contract wins included an iron resources utilisation project – an investment of China’s Ningbo LYGEND Resources, and module consulting services for China’s Eternal Tsingshan Group’s lithium ion cells and battery production (which aims to achieve an annual production capacity of 2 gigawatt-hours).

In Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City, a strategic co-operation agreement was inked between CISDI and Hoa Sen Group, heralding great prospects in the steel, civil and infrastructure sectors for both parties.

The last co-operation agreement reached between the two organisations was in July 2024 and focused on the rebuilding of ZnAlMg-plating and galvaluminium lines in Vietnam.

A number of ASEAN major projects are now operating successfully with CISDI’s impressive technologies and systematic solutions. They include:

Stockyard and reheating furnaces at Hoa Phat’s Dung Quất, Vietnam

Blast furnace ironmaking and reheating furnaces at Formosa Ha Tinh Steel, Vietnam

       ASSB’s phase I, Malaysia

The OBI nickel salt plant, Indonesia.
