More CISDI hot stoves heading to Turkey

Turkish steel giant Oyak has ordered CISDI hot stoves for its Isdemir and Erdemir plants.

CISDI has become a trusted supplier for Oyak, the largest steel group in Turkey which ranks in the world’s top 50 steel enterprises.

This is Oyak’s third hot stove order. It was hard-won by CISDI during the pandemic when its scaled-back technical and commercial team went to Turkey to organise effective online communication channels between the client and CISDI HQ.

Every step went smoothly, despite the many difficulties posed by the virus, and during their time at the site, CISDI’s teams acquired first-hand knowledge of Oyak’s needs.

Four top-combustion stoves will be supplied to Isdemir’s new blast furnace 1 and three internal-combustion stoves to Erdemir’s new blast furnace 2.
