A finishing mill train has been hot tested at JiMa Steel Co. in China’s Jiangsu Province.

CISDI took on the master design and supplied the mills and their electric and automation system.

Part of JM’s relocation project, the rolling line with hot-tested finishing mill features semi-continuous production with an annual projected capacity of 360,000 tonnes. Its products cover a wide range of the drives required by automobile and mechanical manufacturing industries, including rack, round and flat products.

The line is capable of rolling quality carbon steel, alloy structural steel, stainless steel and tool and die steel.

To meet the line’s product versatility, wide specification range and high dimensional precision, CISDI provided tailored total solutions for the technological design, automation commissioning services and supplied core patented equipment – the NHCD standardised short-stress path rolling mills, the FSHCD flying shears and HSHCD hot shears.
