Indian order gets CISDI’s overseas order book off to a flying start

Jindal Steel Odisha in India has placed an order for CISDI’s blast furnace gas holder. marking a good start for 2022’s sales overseas.

The BFG holder, with a volume of 120,000 cubic metres, features CISDI-patented one-section rubber membrane seals (POC type). Its main equipment will be exported from China to India.

CISDI is also supplying JSOL with two blast furnaces, each in a volume of 5,499 cubic metres. These orders were placed at the end of 2021.

European companies were also bidding for the orders but CISDI won out, thanks to its expertise, its high market share in China and strong support from the company’s Indian office.
