New galvanizing line will expand NTS

CISDI is to supply a continuous galvanising line to an annealing line at NTS in Tianjin.

New galvanising units will be installed downstream from existing annealing facilities, which were imported.

They will expand the line’s high-strength and mild steels production range, improving its market competitiveness.

The annealing line produces cold-rolled continuously-annealed sheets. It will be able to switch over to the new galvanising line to produce galvaluminium sheets.

In addition to the steel grades currently produced at NTS, the new galvanising line will be able to meet market needs for Zn-Al-Mg and Al-Zn-Si plated products.
