CISDI to create a scrap grab robot for Ouyeel Blockchain Anhui

CISDI Shanghai Engineering Co is to supply a grab robot for a scrap shearing line.

The robot will bring added intelligence to procedures at Ouyeel Blockchain Wubao (Anhui), a company based at Zhengpu Port, which operates under the Baowu Group.

The company’s first scrap robot product, it was developed by the CISDI Shanghai’s Research and Development Institute, which was established in 2021.

CISDI has completed the robot’s research and development and is now implementing its design and supply.

While transforming heavy-duty machinery to intelligent, breakthroughs have been made in four critical subjects:

ü  closed-loop, precise control of mechanical and hydraulic systems

ü  recognition of highly complicated environments

ü  autonomous unmanned drive

ü  multi-grab clustered collaboration.

The intelligent robot equips the grab with automated recognition, decision-making, operation and collaboration capabilities. It provides a total solution to the Anhui Province’s smart scrap demo plant.

The robot’s application at the smart scrap plant is a global first, and has resulted in:

The robot marks Shanghai Co's success in bringing to market its R&D team's first invention. The company is continuing to advance its green, smart methods for scrap manufacturing.
