Two ULE rebuilds at Baosteel and Ansteel

CISDI Thermal and Environmental Engineering Co’s unique technological developments have won the company two ultra-low emissions orders.
It will be designing and supplying a steelmaking dust collection system for Baosteel and carrying out an EPC-based rebuild of Ansteel’s steelmaking dust collection system.
Both will include highly-effective fume collection hoods, pipeline accurate balances, CAE-based simulation and three-dimensional modelling design.
The new, more stable and reliable systems will play a key part in boosting greener steel production.
Baosteel has seven dust collection systems at its steelmaking plant 1 and 2 which all need upgrading.
CISDI’s solution will reduce the exhaust’s particulate matter concentration to under 10 micrograms per cubic metre in standard conditions. It will also improve working conditions and fulfil targets for low emissions, capability, monitoring, connections and centralised control.
Tangible economic and environmental returns will result.
CISDI’s will upgrade Ansteel’s six dust collection systems at steelmaking plants 1 and 2 to improve efficiency and meet dust concentration standards, a major step towards national green grade A certification.
