Launch of smart stockyard gets underway at Hoa Phat Vietnam

CISDI’s development of an eco-friendly, smart stockyard for Hoa Phat’s Dung Quat plant in Vietnam has broken ground. 

It is the third of its kind to be built by CISDI for the overseas market.

The company’s first achievement was in 2015 for Formosa Ha Tinh Steel in Vietnam. Two years later, it supplied to Malaysian ASSB Kuantan’s phase 1. 

CISDI’s ECIA model-C stockyard will be built at Dung Quat phase II. Main facilities involve the relative yards for receiving, ore, coal, flux, blending and supplying, plus their auxiliaries, dust collection, electric-instrument-computer and smart systems. 

Digital Yard tech will be enhancing the project’s smart levels. 

An overpass scraper reclaimer and light-weight triangular head frame - star CISDI developments - have been proposed to strengthen the project’s equipment standards.
