CISDI-supplied 2,250mm HSM SPM goes on stream at Yongfeng Lingang

A smart skin pass mill is now operational and hitting targets at Yongfeng Steel Lingang’s 2,250mm hot strip rolling line.

CISDI’s supplies have ensured the Shandong Province’s unit is stably ramping up to its designed target, with increasing feedstocks. Product indicators have met the contractual requirements.

The SPM’s characteristics:

⬥          Product specifications range in thicknesses of 1.2 to 12.7mm and in widths of 800 to 2,100mm

⬥          Product strength is designed to be 1,000 megapascals

⬥          Designed production capacity is 800,000 tonnes a year

⬥          Main steel grades cover common and quality carbon structural, low-alloy high-tensile structural, automobile structural, weather-proof structural, boiler and welded gas cylinder steels.
