CISDI’s patented flying shears have passed hot commissioning at a quality bar rolling line in China’s Jiangsu Province.

Seven of the FSHCD shears were supplied to Eastern Special Steel in Changzhou.

They include a portal crank flying shear downstream of the Roughing Mill, which is showing a high rigidity and strong shearing capacity, and a multiple-length flying shear downstream of the 3-roll reducing and sizing mill. It enables a wide range of cutting specifications and speeds, and results in high precision.

The bar producer is noted for its high standards of product precision and quality and its added values. Its round bars cover a wide range of diameters, from 20 to 130mm, and meet the special steels market’s needs for auto and machinery manufacturing in China and around the world.

CISDI’s patented flying shears are seeing excellent performance results in high-speed and heavy-duty rolling lines around the world.

The high cutting precision, low fault rate and easy maintenance they provide enhances rolling line productivity.
