CISDI Information Technology Co has been contracted to create an integrated smart pipeline network sensing and closed loop control system at Baosteel Zhanjiang in China’s Guangdong Province - a Chinese first for the steel sector.
CISDI’s research and development for water treatment’s full-process control and management is based on white box model prediction, scheduling, dynamic simulation and closed-loop control technologies.
Three of CISDI’s smart pipeline network products will be applied:
ü PipeSense real-time simulation middle office
ü Smart-flow supply control
ü Insight leak and loss detection.
These standardised digital products will enhance the pipeline’s transport and distribution efficiency while protecting the pipeline from leakages and loss.
Before turning its focus to developing applications for water treatment, CISDI Information Technology Co’s expertise had successfully implemented steam, gas and dust collection pipeline networks at Shandong Steel Rizhao and Laiwu Steel in China’s Shandong Province.
Baosteel Zhanjiang and CISDI first joined forces in 2019 to build the sector’s first integrated water control centre.
Their second joint smart water project will ensure a flexible supply of water resources, which can be regulated according to market volatilities.
