Teams from CISDI Thermal and Environmental Engineering Co have attended launch meetings in Vietnam for the rebuilding of galvanising (ZnAlMg plating) and galvaluminium lines for the Hoa Sen Group.

Initial discussions focussed on the technical and project management plans for the rebuilding of Hoa Sen Group’s Dong Hoi and Phú Mỹ lines.

The Dong Hoi galvanising (ZnAlMg plating) line 1 is located in Ho Chi Minh City and will be designed to stably produce 350,000 tonnes of ZnAlMg plated sheets with a high standard of surface quality, mechanical performance and corrosion resistance.

The annealing furnace and reheating and post plating cooling systems will be rebuilt and a new air knife nitrogen preparation (air separation unit) station will be created.

The annealing furnace will become fully-electric, with electric radiant tubes at its top and resistance heaters at its bottom, which will increase its efficiency.

The cooling system for downstream plating will feature CISDI’s patented sectionalised coolers, which ensure a stable production.

The Ninh Thuan-sited Phú Mỹ galvaluminium line 4 will have its annealing furnace and combustion system modified.

To achieve an annual production capacity of 400,000 tonnes, the annealing furnace must be made more efficient. CISDI’s dual cross limiting control, pulse heating and model control expertise will be employed.

CISDI Thermal’s teams are now working hard to formulate total process control and are determined to grow the company’s reputation for excellence across Vietnam.
