CISDI is to build two world-beating reheating furnaces for a steel plant in Vietnam.
Each furnace will be able to produce over 100 pieces of billet an hour and will operate to cleaner, greener environmental standards.
More energy-efficient, thanks to CISDI’s groundbreaking technology, Dung Quất Steel’s new furnaces for its bar and wire-rod mills 2 and 3 will conserve energy and produce lower emissions.
It is CISDI’s second contract with Dung Quất in Vietnam's Ouang-ngai Province, having built the plant’s reheating furnace 1 to an EPC mode. Blast furnace gas is recycled as the reheating furnace’s fuel.
The new furnaces will be equipped with CISDI’s patented dual-fuel regenerative burners, combustion control and evaporative cooling technology.
