Shuitu Cloud industrial internet platform has achieved a global steel first - the integrated, centralised control of multiple rolling lines.
This intelligent audio-video sensing, production coordination system and safety control tech efficiently coordinates rolling procedures.
The Shuitu Cloud-based Digital Rolling Mill uses cloud computing, big data and artificial intelligence tech to integrate production, equipment, quality, energy and safety management.
Its many achievements include integrated control and intelligent decision-making on critical process parameters, quality analysis and optimisation, equipment life-cycle health evaluation, refined energy management and HSE.

Baowu WISCO has built the first integrated, centralised steel rolling control centre in the world.
Multi-line long-distance centralised control of operations, production and maintenance have been achieved.
A Digital Rolling Mill, based on Shuitu Cloud industrial internet platform tech, has been created.
Its 2,250mm hot strip rolling line, the first of its kind, has 26 subsystems which have now been connected. 38,000 points of data have been acquired (including 7,000 points of high-frequency data within a 10ms cycle).
The entire rolling shop has been digitalised - from its workforce, machinery and materials to its management and environment.
Big data tech analyses the mill’s quality, equipment, efficiency, energy consumption, cost, HSE and ops.
Besides all the subsystems are connected, each subsystem of this rolling line can be flexibly combined with the same generic/process subsystem of other lines for a centralised control. For instance, the reheating furnace subsystem of this 2,250mm hot strip rolling line and that of other rolling lines can be put under a centralised control. It will reduce labours while increasing efficiency.
CISDI’s Nudge+ platform is a mobile APP which assists the Digital Rolling Mill’s production coordination.
It smoothes coordination between man and machine and supports digitalised, refined management by targeted message push and flow-based operations management.
