Quality results at Shougang Jingtang’s rebuilt galvanising line

Shougang Jingtang Steel’s continuous galvanising line 1 has been successfully relocated from Beijing to Tangshan City in China’s Hebei Province.

It has been rebuilt by CISDI. The modernisation includes the critical equipment and systems – the welder, cleaning section, ovens, air knife, sink rolls, zinc pot, mobile bellows, skin pass mill, tension leveller, roller coater and coiler.

The line is operating stably and has produced optimum first coils, featuring an excellent surface quality and regular spangles.
