CISDI pledges to support staff working overseas during COVID-19 crisis

CISDI Group has pledged to protect and support all staff working in its overseas subsidiaries and project sites during the global COVID-19 pandemic.

“We appreciate your hard work, dedication and determination during this crisis in China and now across the globe and have put in place staunch measures to contain the virus spread in accordance with government advice,” said group chairman Xuewen Xiao.

Mr Xiao urged workers to be reassured by the fact that there are no cases of coronavirus at our headquarters or in our subsidiaries and gave assurances that its overseas teams have the necessary supply of personal protection equipment.

Communication between customers and partners overseas remains strong and CISDI employees in high-risk areas are being urged to avoid all unnecessary travel.

“The Group is hugely appreciative of staff who during the epidemic remain at our sites in Indonesia and Vietnam to ensure security and keep construction to schedule,” he said. “Your valuable efforts are greatly appreciated and we urge you to protect yourselves and ramp up your awareness to prevent the spread of the virus. Staff health and safety are always our top priority.”
