Peng Xiao, the president of CISDI Group, commented: “We are integrating intelligent manufacturing into the conventional steel industry and are very proud of our projects.
“One of them, Baowu Shaogang’s centralised control centre, is the first of its kind in the world.
“CISDI is a major player in achieving steel transformation and high-quality developments.
“Looking to the future, we will continue to develop further innovations in green, low-carbon smelting processes. We will build on our blast furnace expertise to lay the foundation for fully digital upstream-blast furnaces and integrated and intelligent production.”
