CISDI’s trailblazing intelligent tech and products shine at Smart China Expo 2021

CISDI presented its pioneering industrial internet achievements to a global audience at the Smart China Expo.

Staged in Chongqing, China, in August, the theme of the fourth annual Expo was Digital Industrialisation and Industrial Digitalisation.

Launched in 2018 in response to China’s endeavours to develop intelligent industries in the digital-smart age, the SCE showcases the world’s newest intelligent products and developments for all walks of life.

The event highlighted the increasingly closer and deeper integration between technologies for smart, big data, 5G and artificial intelligence and the real economies.

SCE 2021 attracted exhibitors from over 610 companies from 31 countries and regions. An industrial internet show area covered 20,000 square metres.

CISDI, China’s trailblazer of intelligent manufacturing and industrial internet for the steel sector, showcased its versatile platform products and technologies.

At a press conference for the event, CISDI launched its Shuitu Cloud industrial internet platform, its Shuitu Cloud visual intelligent application platform, the AICON consulting platform and other core tech and smart products.

These innovations all benchmark applications of machine vision, big data and AI front-edge technologies for steel manufacturing and front-end consulting domains.

SCE is jointly hosted by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission and China’s Ministry of Science and Technology.

Its 2018 and 2021 events won praise from Chinese president Jinping Xi. He also used the events as a platform to stress the Chinese government’s resolve to boost its intelligent industries.

A member of the mainstream media, reporting on CISDI’s eye-catching products, commented, “The successful applications of CISDI’s smart tech in industrial internet and steel manufacturing have transformed the organisational and production methods at conventional steel plants, resulting in higher-standard production safety, labour productivity and cost effectiveness.”

Multiple Chinese media outlets threw the spotlight on the Baowu Shaogang Intelligence Centre and Baosteel Zhanjiang’s autonomous hot metal transport system, which are designed and built by CISDI.
