GFG Alliance and CISDI forge stronger bond in quest for greener steel sector

CISDI has been named as the ‘tech partner of choice’ by Gupta Family Group Alliance, the collection of global businesses and investments owned by Sanjeev Gupta and family.

Mr Gupta recently travelled to CISDI Shanghai to meet CISDI Group’s chairman Xuewen Xiao.

Mr Gupta laid out GFG’s global green steel manufacturing plans and the two leaders discussed past, present and future business dealings. He commented: “My company and I have been decisive in our co-operation with CISDI, our tech partner of choice.”

CISDI’s chairman Mr Xiao commented: “Our company is at the forefront of global green, low-carbon and intelligent steel transformations and pledges to provide GFG with the very latest technology.”

CISDI took GFG to view one of its greatest achievements - Zenith Nantong Steel’s plant in China’s Jiangsu Province. The coastal greenfield green and smart steel complex went into full production in March.

The GFG team expressed how impressed it was by CISDI’s huge contribution to this modern full-process steel manufacturing plant.
