CISDI meets up with its ‘outstanding partners’ from around the world

89 partners share their views on the future of steel

A meeting of global steel minds was recently staged by CISDI at its HQ in China’s Chongqing.

In attendance were 89 of the company’s most valued partners from around the world.

Mr Xuewen Xiao, chairman of CISDI Group, and Mr Peng Xiao, president, presented honorary plaques to thank each of the ‘outstanding CISDI partners’ for their support.

Companies shared their views on the future of steel and discussed ideas for gaining greater success.

Xuewen Xiao expressed CISDI’s appreciation for the trust and support shown by each of them. He commented: “As an engineering company focussed on steel development, throughout its 66-year history CISDI has been committed to bridging applied sciences with industrial practices.

“We unite with all of our industrial and supply-chain partners so that together we can drive innovation-driven global steel companies to operate with a higher standard of upgrades, smart manufacturing and green, low-carbon credentials.”

Advancing steel production together:

Partners are tasked with researching and assessing what potential impact the steel sector may experience from changing energy supplies, resources and industrial restructuring. 

These new subjects call for collaborative R&D and applications of new process and flow, new materials and manufacturing methods in line with market variations. Core equipment in our manufacturing systems needs to be improved to meet the demand for higher-quality steel.

Jointly exploring green, low-carbon and smart development opportunities:

While creating smart and efficient transformation, all parties need to work together to solve difficult tech and product issues, build up smart, green supply chains and speed up the expansion of new quality productive forces.

These endeavours will level up the steel sector and transform it into a higher quality, smarter and greener producer across the world, and enable it to become the creator of new urban constructions for the Future City.

Deeper integration of the global industrial chain:

Partners are in a stronger position to ensure that best-in-class, EPC-based projects are delivered with refined levels of quality control, documentation, production management and after-sales service. The common goal is to win applause for Chinese products and services from the global market.

Jointly nurturing long-term relationships based on integrity and effectiveness:

CISDI and its partners will experience the good and the bad times together and all parties need to synergise ever-more closely to create highly competitive supply and industrial chains which provide a new paradigm in partnerships and success.
